Final location surveys for the proposal Dighi Port were undertaken by the consultants with Railway approved consultants. The assignment included undertaking the feasibility of railway alignment with two three alternative alignments starting from Roha, Mangaon and Indapur railway stations on Konkan Railway. After studying the pros and cons of various alignments, it was decided to undertake the final location surveys from Indapur railway station. The alignment was passing entirely passing through the hilly and rolling terrain of Konkan region. Optimum alignment was designed which included major bridges, tunnels, developing yards etc.

Delineation of influence area, preparation of station area traffic, commuter dispersal plan, feeder system network plan along with preliminary surveys, design & architectural plans for Multi Level Car Parking (MLCP), block cost estimation, revenue generation, financial feasibility and project approval from various stake holders like ULB’s, Railways, MMRDA etc.
